How this calculator works
Common guidance: above 75°F (24°C) 0.5 TOG over a short-sleeve bodysuit or less; 69-75°F (21-24°C) 1.0 TOG; 61-68°F (16-20°C) 2.5 TOG; below 61°F (16°C) 3.5 TOG with warmer layers. A cooler room within safe limits is better than an overheated one.
