# Best Toy Storage Cubbies for a Tidy, Playful Nursery (2026) Source: https://nurserysetupnest.com/best/toy-storage-cubbies Updated: 2026-09-15 Publisher: Nursery Setup Nest. Our score is an editorial rating out of 10 (fit 35%, features 25%, build 20%, value 20%), not a customer rating. Method: https://nurserysetupnest.com/how-we-research#our-score Toy storage cubbies bring order to a nursery and make cleanup something a toddler can join in on, so stability and accessible design matter most. Look for a sturdy frame that will not tip, rounded corners, and a non-toxic finish, paired with lightweight fabric bins a child can slide out and carry. Lower cubbies encourage independence, and a wall anchor adds peace of mind once your little one starts climbing on everything in sight. Cubby organizers suit families who want flexible, grow-with-you storage, since bins can be relabeled and repurposed from stuffed animals to blocks to books over the years. A practical tip is to anchor the unit to the wall, keep heavier bins on the bottom row, and choose bins without drawstrings or long cords, so tidy-up time stays safe as well as simple. ## Picks ### 1.
