# Best Night Lights for Gentle, Sleep-Friendly Nurseries (2026) Source: https://nurserysetupnest.com/best/night-lights Updated: 2026-09-22 Publisher: Nursery Setup Nest. Our score is an editorial rating out of 10 (fit 35%, features 25%, build 20%, value 20%), not a customer rating. Method: https://nurserysetupnest.com/how-we-research#our-score A good night-light gives you just enough glow for feeds and changes without fully waking your baby, so warm, dim light leads the list. Look for adjustable brightness, a warm amber or red tone rather than bright blue-white light, and a cool-touch surface that stays safe near little hands. Handy features include a timer, an auto-off setting, and either a stable plug-in design or a rechargeable portable lamp you can carry between rooms. Night-lights suit parents navigating dark-room feeds and toddlers who find a soft glow reassuring. A practical tip is to keep any corded or plug-in light and its cable well away from the crib, choose warm low light over anything bright or blue-toned that can suppress melatonin, and place the light low and indirect, so it lights your path without turning night into day. ## Picks ### 1.
